Celebrating local artists & VE Day 75th Anniversary

Instead of their planned community singalong at

Cheddar's war memorial on the afternoon of the 75th

Anniversary of VE Day, and what would have been the first day of #CHAFF2020...Cheddar Valley Singers perform "We'll Meet Again" via video from their own homes.

We are very sad to announce that, due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus, we have had to take the decision to postpone Cheddar's Walking Arts Trail for 2020.

Artists -  We are proud to have 48 members this year. Please visit our members page to find out more.

Sponsors, contributors and supporters - We have been overwhelmed this year with the amount of local businesses sponsoring us, volunteers supporting us, Friends donating, groups, clubs, charities, and other organisations planning to get involved.

Thank you all.

We won't be letting all that work go to waste so please watch this space for details of other events coming later in the year including a delayed opportunity for the village to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

The next full walking Arts Trail will take place from Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd May 2021.

Cheddar Arts Festival 2019...

Film Making

The Somerset Film Engine Room came to Cheddar on saturday at venue 15 and everyone young & old had a go at creating various light shapes and played music with cheese!

Thank you for coming to CHAFF!

Drop in and create...

was a huge success and we loved seeing finished bottles at Venue 15.  Ellen Grady & Mel Reid then designed the bottle chandelier to go into the CHAFF Telephone Art Box for June 2019.

Yarn Bombing

Fairlands School did a brilliant job of yarn bombing Cheddar and did you spot their colourful ceramics?

Thank you Fairlands for making Cheddar so colourful and fun.

CHAFF Arts Trail Tour 2019

Beccy and her family had a fantastic weekend showing off Cheddar and CHAFF to everyone that came on the tour.

Over £80 was raised in donations to support this year's Festival.

Thank you for coming!
